Introductions

Jackie and I have done many things together since we met in elementary school. Being two of the tallest girls in our grade I think we were bound to bond, and we did. Together we’ve been in the same classes, dissected the same frogs, gone to the same parties, been to endless concerts and the list goes on…

Our experiences include some travels together such as our grad trip to Cancun, weekend road trips, summer camping, we even met in Rome briefly while we were both travelling Europe. But when we started talking about taking a month off to travel together we were entering into new territory, new very exciting territory.

Due to this excitement and in an effort to stay connected with those we love throughout the voyage, we’ve decided to share our experiences along the way via blog.

And here we are, just about one week until we leave. With our August 1^st departure creeping up, preparation is soon to be in full force - starting with last nights thought “How do I, a girl who can’t fit all her clothes in her drawers and closet at home, pack everything needed for a month in ONE backpack!?”. We'll see how that goes.
